  • 2008 Race Office list  - The duty roster for the first half of the season is now available <Click> Here. Please check for when it is your turn.
It is most important to stress that if you are unable to make the date indicated, then please arrange a swap as soon as possible before your duty date. Failure to turn up only puts the burden onto others. As a last resort only, please contact Steve Abbott if you cannot do your OOD duty. Safety is a most important aspect of our sailing and the OOD provides that service to all sailors on the water.
Anyone who feels that they would benefit from some training in order to improve or learn the skills required be an OOD, please speak to Steve Abbott, who is happy to organise training.

  • Launching Supper - A very big thank you to Mike and Judy Burton for organising the Launch Supper, which took place at Hull College. It was a great night and wonderful to see so many at the venue. The food was great and the service excellent! We will try and provide more places for next year’s event.  As one happy member commented, “The food was very good value – wow nouveau cuisine for £11.50 a head!  It was over just too quickly.”

  • A Tragic Loss for the Club. It is with extreme sadness that we must report the death of Paul Spencer, Paul was our Commodore until ill health forced his retirement last year. In almost every aspect of club life Paul played an important role; from inspiring the improvements to our facilities, to being instrumental in the resurgence of Junior membership and Junior Sailing activities at the Club. But if our loss is great, how much greater is that of Sally and his 3 Children, I'm sure the whole club will join me in sending them our heartfelt condolences.
