The Laser Radial is a variant of the
Laser Class, but numerous enough in its own
right to have its own racing program at Events. Basically the same
Hull as the laser the Radial has a smaller sail plan to make the boat
more suitable to lighter crews and the more experienced Juniors. We
regularly have 3 or 4 racing at Welton.
Another variant of the Laser, that like the Radial has
a reduced sail plan is the Laser 4.7. The
4.7 is more suited to even lighter crews or less experienced sailors. |
