All members should have received their membership renewal forms, please complete these by 30th May by returning them to Karen Hood. Access to the water is not permitted until payment of this year’s membership has been sent with a signed copy of the Insurance Indemnity Form.
There has had to be a small increase in the subscriptions this year, it was last increased two years ago and the increase amounts to an increase of 3.5%-3.65%/year. This is required by the Water Sports Club due to additional charges for improvements to clubhouse security, additional insurance premiums due to the break-ins we have experienced last year and also due to excess costs associated with the insurance claims.
The Sailing Club has been able to keep their share of the subscription at the same amount due to the success of our social activities which have been well supported by the membership. We
appreciate those who work hard to organise and participate in the social events
because this keeps us solvent and all money raised goes into the Sailing Club
funds.
